Schedule Scan

Hi! I have found that comodo has a very potent scanner, catching everything and more than my stand-alone scanners in most cases, and I was wondering if there was any way to schedule automatic scans or if comodo’s is strictly on-demand.

Greetings, and welcome to the forums!

As of the latest build, there’s no way to schedule a scan with CFP3, so you’ll have to do it manually. Maybe in the future, that function might be added.

Actually, there is… you just need to create a normal Windows Task (with whatever date/time) with the following command line…

"C:\Program Files\COMODO\Firewall\cfpconfg.exe" -a -p

edit: Assuming, of course, you have CFP installed in the default directory.

yes, that would be a nice update

Comodo are working ■■■■■■■ things getting integrated into CFP 3 (CAVS 3, Comodo Memory Firewall, etc).

CFP 3 is an BASIC Scanner off CAVS 3. More options, etc will be available to the CAVS 3 engine in CFP 3 as time goes on, Don’t forget CAVS 3 is planned to be released hopefully by the end of this month.
