Scanning files in cloud D+

So, the last time i used CIS was around v4.xx and i had some issues with it, now finally CIS is back on track on my PC, it’s really LIGHT, SUPER FAST, SMOOTH, and no bugs etc.

BUT i have a question, how does the scanning files in the cloud to check if the file is safe or not works?

Is it signature based, reputation based or any other form?

I’m just being curious because, signature based analysis can have lots of flaws (You guys should know why 88)).

It is an SHA1 hash.

The md5 has been cracked. It is no longer safe.
