scan log

I have a really simple question, which has occupied my time for the last hour. How do I access the scan log?
surely CIS keeps a simple record: scan done at x am, nothing found.
looking at this forum I see I’m not the first to ask this, and apparently logging is not done!
If this is the case I will be looking for a new AV. This is an ELEMENTARY facility.

  • Open Main GUI
  • Click “Tasks”
  • Under “General Tasks” tab, click “View Logs”
  • In the new window, next to “Show”, select “Tasks” in the drop-down menu
  • To see the actual malware detected and removed, select “Antivirus events” in the drop-down menu
  • If you can not see any entries, either click the bottom arrow and then “Entire period” or right-click anywhere in the blank space and click “Entire period”
