Save and restore the bookmarks?

Hello!

My question: how can I save and later, restore all of my bookmarks from CD v8?
I must reinstall my Win!

Thanks

It’s a hidden folder, so you’ll have to set your folder options to view hidden files and folders.

The path is:
C:\Documents and Settings*Username*\Local Settings\Application Data\Comodo\Dragon\User Data\Default

How come Comodo decided to use a separate folder when Windows already have one?

Is it only because Comodo want to stick together with Google?

If there is one thing I dislike with CD, it’s how hard it is to move all the favorites.
But I guess that’s the point, Google want’s us to signup for using G-mail accounts :a0

???

Not sure what you mean by this. Are you asking why Dragon doesn’t use Internet Explorer’s favorites folder? I’m not aware of any other browser that uses IE’s folder. Yes, most browsers are able to import bookmarks from IE, but after that, the bookmarks are stored in a folder specific to that browser.

Have you looked at Tidy Favorites? I haven’t used it, but it’s supposed to be able to sync bookmarks between Chrome, IE, Opera, and Firefox. I don’t know if you’re able to specify a directory to be able to make it compatible with Dragon.

:viva: It’s ok, I’m starting get used with it.
That few people understands me I mean :frowning:

Thanks for fast reply btw, haven’t used software similar as Tidy before so this one was new even for myself.
Actually I’m looking for something to run directly inside the computer for handle the bookmarks.
Basically I’m a bit paranoid  Want keep things where I’m able to see what’s happen to my stuff.
That’s how I’ve learned to stay safe and very seldom use online services more than the most usual.
To keep the e-mails online feels enough for me, appologize.

Will se, perhaps there might be some plugin that works
Thanks mate
