I downloaded a trojan on a fake page, luckily I always run my web browser fully virtualized but the virus was quarantined. I thought it would remain inside the sandbox until it was deleted?
I think even if your browser is FV, if AV catches something, it moves to quarantine. Expected behavior, correct me if I’m wrong.
you are correct the AV does work in the FV sandbox
I have tested the FV sandbox against malware and sometimes the AV does remove and quarantine the viruses. The sandbox will protect you so you have two layers of protection.

Yes the FV browser - is my system secure/would the trojan remain in the FV browser then when I reset the sandbox it’s gone?
Once sandbox is reset, yes it’s gone.
