I’ve read some threads (just a few to my surprise) on my question but none will answer fully.
So here it goes: I don’t like the Sandbox feature; I don’t like because I don’t trust the principle and because it causes me issues.
Example: it limited (sandboxed) SUPERAntiSpyware (a very suspicious app as we all know) and I had no option to take it out of the box (why?). I had to reboot to have SAS working properly.
What I want to know is: if I disable Sandbox will Defense+ be limited? Will I have to change some settings?
If there is a thread I missed please point me to it.
Finally; will the Sandbox be mixed with D+ in future in a way that they will be inseparable?
Current config: Proactive Security; D+/Safe mode; FW/Custom Policy; no AV (MSE).
Vista SP2 fully patched.

How did it get limited? Did it loose functionality? Do you use the paid version of SAS that runs in the background? May be it has a service running in the background; that needs to be stopped and started before it will no longer run in the sandbox.
The problem with white listing is that it by definition will run after the facts when a programs gets updated. There will always be a period where an updated application is unknown.

When you disable the sandbox you will have the full power of D+ without having to change settings. Unless you want tighter control than the defaults provide of course.

No. That has never been suggested by Comodo.

Yes, it simply wouldn' work. I had to reboot.
I'm using the free version, wich was installed prior to CIS, and the first time I run it CIS went crazy (D+ alerts, Sandbox alerts, SAS not working.).

That's what I wanted to hear.
No. That has never been suggested by Comodo.
And that's good to hear as well.
Thanks for your answer Eric, very much appreciated.
