Sandbox leak?

Ive created a batch file to clean out my event viewer in XP SP3. I was playing around with the sandbox and its modes and I ran the batch file in fully virtualized mode just to see what would happen. Then I go to the event viewer (not in sandbox) and the logs are deleted. I thought whatever runs in the sandbox in fully virtualized mode stays in the sandbox. Is this a bug or do I understand it wrong.

This is my batch file in case someone wants to know:
@echo off
echo.
echo PREPARING TO DELETE WINDOWS EVENT LOGS
echo.
echo.
echo CLEARING WINDOWS EVENT LOGS . . .
cd “%ProgramFiles%\PsTools”
psloglist.exe -c Application
psloglist.exe -c Security
psloglist.exe -c System
psloglist.exe -c “Internet Explorer”
psloglist.exe -c Microsoft-Windows-Forwarding/Operational
psloglist.exe -c NetLimiter
psloglist.exe -c “Windows PowerShell”
echo.
echo.
echo FINISHED CLEARING LOGS . . .
cd "%systemroot%\system32"
eventvwr.msc /s
echo.
echo PROGRAM FINISHED . . .
exit

This does sound like a bug. Please report it in this section of the forum:
