While running a recently d/loaded program (GMER rootkit detector) I inadvertently selected Treat application as an ‘Isolated application’ after an alert appeared. (I think it was a registry alert)
Now I cannot start the program and get a pop up message to the affect of ‘cannot find path or no permission’.
Is there some way I can ‘un-isolate’ this file? I’ve looked through various settings but can’t find anything. 
EDIT: Renamed the file concerned and rebooted and it now runs ok (with appropriate alerts checked)
Don’t know whether it was the renaming or rebooting or both that did it!
