Hi,

I’m new to this and not sure I’m posting in the right place. Please correct me if I should be someplace else.

Below find two files that KillSwitch found that belong to Brother ControlCenter4. They were installed when I loaded the Drivers and Utilities earlier today for a new Brother MFC-7360N printer, the software came on CD which was included with the printer. I believe these are safe files. They are both in the C:\Program Files\ControlCenter4\ folder.

BrCcUxSys.exe & BrCtrlCntr.exe

I have a question, can CCE and it’s tools be unzipped to a CD and run from the CD?

If you are looking to submit files to be whitelisted you can do it here.

I have never tried running CCE from a cd but it should work fine, i would just make sure to update CCE to the latest virus signatures before burning it
