Router - Differences Between Comodo Firewall and NIS 2011

I am blue-skying here.

Norton treats router as protected but not trusted. Appears it ids it by MAC address. Comodo by default includes it in the local connection IP range which it is and I assume by definition treats it as trusted. In my setup, my local connection range by default is 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0. My DHCP range is 192.168.1.1 -192.168.1.253. My router is 192.168.1.254. And of course, 192.168.1.255 is broadcast.

How can I get the router out of the trusted device range and yet have the Comodo firewall handle auto connections to and from it.

CIS does not trust any network as trusted in default settings. It will generate a Network Zone with default settings but that does not get activated.

You can make a Network Zone for your router alone and use the Stealth Ports Wizard to make it a trusted zone.
