Every time as my system goes through the shut down process COMODO opens up its standard warning box but before I get time to respond or note the details Windows closes.
Any suggestions on how I might identify this application?

Open CFP 3, go to Defense+ → Common Tasks → View Defense+ Events. If there’s nothing there, click More…, and it’ll show all events. This requires logging for Defense+ events to be enabled.

In what mode are you running Firewall and D+ ?
You could try to set both to Training mode and then reboot several times, then go back to your original settings and see if it learned anything.
