I am running Roboform Portable (a password manager) from a removable USB drive. Each time that I run the application, Defense+ Clean Mode asks for permissions (the permissions are not remembered). I tried running in Training Mode and granting permissions, adding the exe to My Safe Files, and granting the application both Trusted Application and Window System Application status under Computer Security Policy, but Clean Mode still asks for permissions each time the application is run. Looking at My Pending Files it appears that Defense+ sees the application as a new application each time it is run from the USB drive even though the file name and path are the same as the last time it was run. I can see why that makes sense from a security perspective but is there any way to configure the setttings to change that behavior for a selected application on the USB drive?
I have the same problem and am looking for a solution.
SOLUTION: GO TO YOUR DEFENSE+ “ADVANCED SETTINGS” AND CRANK DOWN THE SLIDER TO “TRAINING MODE” AND HIT “APPLY” - PORTABLE ROBOFORM WORKS FINE NOW. (:NRD)
