Reverting to the default Network Security Policy settings for Comodo Firewall V5

Hi folks,
new to Comodo (former ZA user), like what I see. Played with the default Network Security Policy settings (Predefined Policies and Application Rules) but didn’t keep record of the factory settings…

Any chance I can access what they were or are they able to be restored? Thanks in advance…

Hello TPCTPC,

CIS > Firewall > Network Security Policy >
Save: Comodo Internet Security / System / Windows Updater Applications /
The Rest can be deleted (I believe there would be a All Applications Group also that you shouldn’t delete)

With The Predefined Rules can be found here (It shows an image if you scroll down)

Also; For Future References
CIS > More > Manage my Configurations > (You can import/export configurations)
Defualt Location of Configurations are %programfiles%\Comodo\Comodo Internet Security

Hope this helps

Jake

Welcome to the Forum tpctpc,

You can right click the CIS tray icon and select Configuration > Manage my Configuration.

You will see one marked Active this is your current set up.

Select Import and navigate to C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security folder and Select the
corresponding Config File be it Proactive or whatever. Append “default” to the filename.
After the Import you can Activate either your current setup or the default one.

  • note that after use it won’t be default for long.
  • you can remove it and re-import fresh as you need.

Hope this helps.
