Is there a simple way (single click of a button) to restore CIS to its as installed default settings??

Not quite a single click More / Manage my Configurations

Import a configuration file (Whichever configuration you are using Internet Security is the Default) from the Comodo Internet Security folder then activate it.

Edit Please make sure you Export your current configuration in case you may wish to use it again, as sometimes when you switch configuration rules can be lost.

Will this:

  1. Clear out any entries in My Own Safe Files??
  2. Remove any entries that I have added to Firewall → Advanced → Network Security Policy??
  3. Remove any entries that I have added to Defense+ → Advanced → Computer Security Policy??

    Also My Trusted Software Vendors should not change.

Are the Configuration files the CFGX files??

Sorry about the multiple posts - I was trying to put them in a sensible area but I found that I was not able to delete the posts in the wrong areas. :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Are my Comodo current configurations in a single file (CFGX?) as for the default configurations?? If so, could you advise the name of file and where it can be found.

Rather than Export my current configurations I thought that it would be better to add this current configurations file to my files that are protected by automated backups. This way I would always have an up to date version of my current configurations without having to remember to specifically Export the file.
