Reset Container with Task Scheduler

I would like to reset the container every time before I run a full backup of my PC. The easiest way would be to schedule a run with the windows task scheduler before the backup. Does anyone know the command to run the container (VTRoot) cleanup from windows?

“C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\cis.exe” --mainUI /TaskSBReset

Thanks @futuretech for the tip. The task starts running in the background but it looks like it is waiting for some input (no UI). The container is not cleaned. I set it with highest priorities.

Any ideas? Thanks

Yeah you need to actually click on erase changes, I’m not sure why no UI is being shown.

Does anybody from COMODO support have an idea how to make it work?

Hi Scubamaster,

Can you please share your Windows OS version?

Kind Regards,

Sure, it’s 1709.16299.64 fully patched

Now it’s 1709.16299.98 fully patched

Works fine here on Windows 7, make sure the arguments box has the --mainUI /TaskSBReset. Also have the task run under your user account.
