Require help with pinpointing problem

Hi guys, I’ve got CPF setup properly, and it was all fine, but for these past few days, i’ve been looking at some weird connections.

My pc has a proxy client program, (www.your-freedom.net), and it was fine, no weird connections, until these past few days, when all of a sudden, there were mass inbound TCP SYN connections to port 1080, 8080 from various IPs in Taiwan i.e. 122.126.112.65, 122.126.106.175.

Surprisingly my pc was reacting to the connections, the proxy client program started popping errors, saying about an application trying to use port 25 on the proxy server for something else either than SMTP and i could see on CPF that multiple connections were outgoing from my system, to numerous IPs on port 25. SO, i figured it was some kind of worm or infected file in my pc, and i reformated, clean everything, reinstalled drivers and softwares.

But at last, its still occuring. I even made a rule in CPF, to block those connection. Got my pc scanned with antivirus, AVG Anti-Spyware, but still its occuring. Any ideas on what they are or whats triggering them or how i can pinpoint the exact process thats actually responding to it? Tried netstat and fport.exe but the connections showed it to not be coming from any process as there was no process location / PID.
