Removing Comodo Internet Security 3.8x

Hi,

I’ve got a huge problem - I just can’t uninstall CIS 3.8 from my PC. The thing is that I can’t see it on the Add/Remove programs list, nor in the Revo Uninstaller. Tried even in safe mode, and won’t do. I disabled it in services.msc, but when I was trying to delete the files manually I’ve got an error (can’t delete cav… .dll - don’t remember exact name, it was on the other pc).

I was trying to install new version of CIS and I got some kind of error (I think the number was 14 - can’t install application…).

Running Win XP x86.

Don’t know how to handle that… please help.

PS Already been trying some methods mentioned on the forum and google, but all seem to include the first step, that i can’t complete - “uninstall Comodo… with the Add/Remove programs” - how can I do that, when I’ve got none on the list?!

Hi jurcio6,

If you go to start > Programs do you have Comodo? If yes, you should have CIS > add and remove components which you could try to remove CIS.

try to see CIS clean up tools will help. Run it in safe mode as admin.
