I spent a lot of time removing Comodo Antirus. I ran the latest scripts provided on this Forum that got rid of 99% of the problem but as you know was still left with the Legacy files.
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate and Administer privileges would not allow Legacy File removal.
Use the script found in this forum first, this will save a lot of work.
The Legacy problem was solved by using a very good free Reg edit programme from the following web site
http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2009/03/05/full-control-permission-to-delete-or-edit-restricted-windows-registry/
Download this software and right click on the programme and use Run with Administrative Privilege.
You only need to remove the Legacy files as the search for Comodo will bring up a lot of entry’s.
Use extreme caution as the programme is very powerful.
If you are not sure, don’t use it.
