REMOVE instead of DELETE FILE

In SUMMARY for CIS,

the middle section (out of the three) is something called Defense+

in that section it had “1 unrecognized file observed / will be treated as Partially Limited”

so i clicked on that 1 file and it was a search thing for c:\DELL

i wanted to DELETE it as i figured it wasn’t necessary for WINDOWS, but i accidently clicked REMOVE instead

how do i find it again so can DELETE it? do i have to DELETE it?

thank you in advance… you guys are a blessing and when i get a job i’ll purchase the better upgraded product with real support instead of coming on forums looking for handouts :slight_smile:

Antivirus Tab->Quarantined Items

Files removed from unrecognized files dont go to quarantine.

I would be cautious of deleting any file without first searching online for what it actually is.
It could be a critical file for your system.

Go to any of your event logs within the GUI of Comodo, click more and look under configuration changes for string added/string removed this should show you the file name (Hover over the file name to expand). I would not delete the file without first researching it further.

We might be Volunteering our help and we are not all experts as you get with paid support, but we are real :). Don't think of it as a hand out, we all enjoy helping when possible.

Hey and warm welcome to comodo forums

Remove, in this case means that you removed it from the unrecognized list, but not the file itself.

I hope this helps
