Their way of doing business indeed looks great, as a lot of competitors release feature reduce versions for free to upsell/advertise the paid one…

Kudos to them if they found such a way to forsake the chance to provide the full suite for free along with a toolbar and not the feature reduced version the blog was about.

It looks that at tallemu weren’t aware of their commandment Default opt-in is wrong when they endorsed giveawayoftheday and it defaults optin though they considered to provide the full OA for free at least for one day though they weren’t apparently motivated to extend the “offer” further…

Guess the chance to monetize even a blog article might have appeared appealing at the time…
