Clean from viruses/malware/adware etc.
Hi, I recently attempted to install Comodo Firewall v.3
Prior to installation, I uninstalled ZoneAlarm, ran CCleaner and Regscrub to eliminate any residual files left over from ZoneAlarm. Rebooted computer.
Then I installed Comodo. Upon reboot, when the computer gets to the Windows XP Welcome screen, after a couple seconds I get a BSOD with the following error:
“No More IRP Stack Locations”
I attempted to install Comodo well over 6 mnths. ago as well, with the exact same error, so I gave up and went back to ZoneAlarm. At the time, I was running Avast as well. Are there known complications with running Avast Antivirus and Comodo together?
The reason I am not wishing to stay with ZoneAlarm is because it is now conflicting with Avast AntiVirus 4.8.
Any idea what the problem is?
I have heard of one user reinstalling Windows XP and all his programs. I have no interest in such an extreme measure.
