Quick Query re Process Flags

Hi,
Did a quick search but didnt see an answer…

Why doesnt the FW recognise Firefox etc as legit. Seems the only ‘safe’ flag is for its own update connection. FF, IE, BoClean are all marked as unknown.

I ran the Wizard but still get asked about FF etc starting till I make a rule ???

I supect that firefox version you have is a newer version than the version in the CPF database. You will find a similar problem next time firefox updates to a new version - the firewall will warn you that the cryptographic signature of firefox has changed etc etc.
Currently the database does not seem to get updated often and it is likley that updates to programs such as Firefox, Thunderbird etc will not be immediately added to the known applications list.
