With Comodo firewall 2.4 in the application monitor, i was able to set Firefox as the application and specify another application as the parent. This way I could use this to dis-allow(Block) some applications from using Firefox to connect to the internet. Though Firefox by itself could connect to the internet. Is there a way to do this in v3??

Also when i extract a rar file i keep getting pop-ups warnings. It says it creating a new folder or something. Is there a way to stop this??

Add ‘Allow’ for Protected Files/Folders in the Process Access Rights for the application used to unpack the rar file.

Example:

D+ → Advanced → Computer Security Policy → Double-Click Winrar.exe → Click Access Rights → Change default action for Protected Files/Folders to Allow → Click each Apply button on all open CFP windows.
