I’m wondering if I must leave CTM Client Service always running.
Usually I stop some unused services and I’m not sure about CTM. Now is stopped and CTM works fine taking and restoring snapshots but I’m wondering if I must start it. I have no idea why it must be started always, maybe to prevent Windows to write in CTM allocated space?
Any thoughts are welcome. 
I would definitely recommend leaving any service or anything to do with CTM alone. Things may seem OK now but I think your asking for trouble in the long run.
If you do run into trouble then please…mention that you’ve tampered with CTM intentionally so that we can all say “What did you expect?”
This may seem cold but its hard enough troubleshooting legitimate problems without troubleshooting systems that were intentionally sabotaged.
