Oh, yes. I have never opened internet explorer on this computer. I just use firefox.

Some other installed programs may use it though. What about Win update or Outlook express? Just a thought. Kind regards.

Vista was released in 2006. And yes, people using XP SP2 who have enabled DEP. Before SP2, DEP was not a native feature of XP.
