I’ve been on a hunt yesterday and today, on a hunt for software that can monitor an installation and then completely uninstall it with the data it gathers from the monitor, pretty much like Comodo Program Manager does… well did…
So far I’ve found a few options but they simply don’t live up to my requirements, basically I’m trying here to see if anyone knows any such product that lives up to my requirements?
Requirements:
[ol]- The program should NOT rely on snapshots but rather real-time monitoring.
- The product should be completely compatible with Windows 8.1.
- The product should either a) Be freeware or b) Have a life-time purchasable licence and NOT a licence where you have to buy a new one when there comes a new major version or similar.[/ol]
List of programs I’ve looked at:
[ol]- Comodo Programs Manager - Doesn’t live up to Requirement #2.
- Advanced Uninstaller Pro - Doesn’t live up to Requirement #1.
- Mirekusoft Install Monitor 2 - Can’t find information on Requirement #3 (Have sent e-mail asking for information about it) Doesn’t live up to Requirement #3.
- Mirekusoft Install Monitor 1.1 - Doesn’t live up to Requirement #2 from the information on the website.
- Primo - Doesn’t live up to Requirement #1.
- Total Uninstall - Doesn’t live up to Requirement #1 and #3.
- Ashampoo Magical UnInsall - Doesn’t live up to Requirement #1 and haven’t checked #2 and #3.
- Uninstall Tool 3 - Doesn’t live up to Requirement #3.
- Revo Uninstaller Pro - Not sure about Requirement #1 but still doesn’t live up to #3.[/ol]
So if anyone knows of any software that lives up to all three requirements then please tell me.
