the site below has a webcam that i use often but as of the last couple of days it has gone silly. and even default zoom setting doesn’t work. the same URL in ie and chrome are fine

Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache and cookies?
You should also try enabling extensions and check if any of them is interfering with the website’s functionality.
