After installing CAV it gave me a lot of Virus notifications (too many to mention here) when starting Delphi. I got into trouble, and could finally solve the issue by adding it to the trusted application list. (See other post https://forums.comodo.com/empty-t44933.0.html;new;topicseen#new)
Point is that on my laptop (installed a long time ago the system asked me if I would add the app to the trusted list. It did not do this now. The moderator of the other group tried to install Delphi but this gave him a lot of problems, which is why I’m adding it here now.
So installing Delphi and running Delphi (a pascal development environment) gives a lot of false warnings/errors.
As I was the Mod trying to help aducom, I thought I’d take a deeper look at this. In all honesty there are too many samples to upload. The the problem with false detection affects virtually the entire installation and subsequent launching of the components that comprise the application.
As the total size of the data would be several hundred megabytes. It would probably be easier if you were to take a look at the entire product.
As a lot of these products use shared components so the problem will likely affect a number of these applications.
I Hope this helps.
I’ve a attached a sample of the AV log to give you an idea of the scale of the problem.
