Hello friends:
I have a problem with AX CRIPT.
COMODO tells that is changing the configuration of FIREFOX.EXE
to send messages and connect through the Internet with warning of a possible trojan
I did not give permission and sent files to you.
I had to unistall the program to be able to enter the Internet but I like AX CRIPT to be used.
Is any danger with this program?
Any advice is welcomed.
Thanks
Comodo is providing this alert because of the “behind the scenes” communication between applications. It does not mean that AxCrypt is necessarily connecting to the internet. I know AxCrypt’s creator specifically states that it only connects on install to provide certain feedback as you allow.
Given that it does pop up every time, I created an Application Monitor rule to Block Outbound traffic by AxCrypt. Haven’t heard anything from it since.
Hope that helps,
LM
OK. It is clear for me.
Yes the problem started right away after the installation.
I will follow your advice.
Thank you.

Basically, the Application Monitor rule would be like:
Application: AxCrypt.exe
Parent: Learn, or Skip
Action: Block
Protocol: TCP/UDP
Direction: Out
Miscellaneous: (leave blank)
If you have any other questions or problems with this, just let us know.
Hope that helps,
