Problem with Dragon 25.0.2.0 and Windows 8

Yep, but the problem is that quite a few apps have links to help files onlines, so not being able to use CD as the default browser is an issue :expressionless:

I have the same issue in Win8 taskbar. Dragon will not stay pinned in the taskbar. I get the same warning about the “class is not registered” error.

Hi DGant,
Have you tried the solution kindly posted by ‘Abyr’ in reply 14 of this topic?

I instead went to the exe file for Dragon, and changed the properties to run in “win7 compatibility mode”. That seems to have solved the issue for me. It’s been performing fine launching it from the taskbar since doing that, probably 40 instances or so back.

Thanks … :-TU

Hi DGant,
Glad to hear that you have found a workaround for the issue.

Have you tried the current release?
Comodo Dragon ver 25.1 is now available for download

Thanks.
