Problem when "scan my system"......

When trying to scan my pc for virus etc etc, I get an error box that says this…
the instruction at “0x7c95faf9” referenced memory at “0x016200ld”. The memory could not be “read”
After I click to terminate that then the comodo box comes up to send the error to them, the details of the error sent to them was…
Name CRASH.DMP
Description Crash Dump
file DMP

What should I do about this- uninstall and reinstall the firewall - I done the diag. test and it said everything was fine.?

Hello, I am sorry to here about your troubles!

Can you please download Comodo Internet Security RC 2 hopefully this will be what you are looking for :slight_smile:

Thanks but which one should I download? I have windows xp service pack 3 if that helps or where should ZI find out if I need 32 bit or 64 bit? Thanks!

Hope this helps;

  1. Click Start, click Run, type winmsd.exe, and then click OK.
  2. In the details pane, locate Processor under Item. Note the value.
    • If the value that corresponds to Processor starts with x86, the computer is running a 32-bit version of the Windows operating system.
    • If the value that corresponds to Processor starts with ia64 or AMD64, the computer is running a 64-bit version of the Windows operating system.

Thanks, Kyle! Downloading now the 32 bit- will post back how it goes!!! (:CLP)

??? Now If I try to scan it says I need to do so as admin and I already am!? Did System restore after I tried to download the 32 file bit you gave me and that happened so I uninstalled and reinstalled but same prob! I think I may need another firewall protection! What should I do!? (:SAD)
