Comodo V3.0.14.276 is telling me there is an update but when I click on the update link I get a message from Comodo that the system is blocking access to the specified file. Any ideas? Thanks

I think you have an early enough version that problems with update weren’t fixed yet. Export your current settings from miscellaneous/manage my configuration and download the full program. It will uninstall your old version, and install the new version. After the reboot, you can reimport your old configuration again. It is a good idea to export your new default configuration first, just in case. 
Thanks for your input. I did as you said and the new version seems to be working fine. First thing I did afterward was to go to Gibson Research and Symantec to run their firewall checks to see if there were any holes in the firewall, and found two ports that were open for services. I used the Comodo Stealth Port Wizard to stealth these ports and then it passed with flying colors. I still can’t believe that this firewall is available for free with all of the options that it has.
Remember that Shields Up will detect your router first.
