Problem--Scheduled backup with password protection

I’m using comodo 4.3.4.7 and trying to schedule a backup with password protection onto another PC in the network. However at the scheduled time, the backup is not getting initiated. Instead it is shown as a backup activity to be scheduled inside the manage console and the backup gets initiated if and only if I click the “Backup Now” link inside the manage console. This pops the username and password credentials of the remote PC.

I’m looking for the help in resolving this problem so that scheduled backups with password protection happen without any user intervention.

Hi,

There are two solutions

  1. Map the network location as a local drive using “net use” command.

  2. Let CB store connection credentials by checking the “Remember connection information” on the schedule page
