Problem scanning large PowerPoint Files [RESOLVED]

I’ve recently discovered why my antivirus seems to hang. It stops on a 18.3 meg Powerpoint file. Anyone else having this problem?

Would it at all be possible to send the powerpoint to us? (i understand if it is confidential etc)

Same problem here, Comodo AV hangs while scanning my documents with large powerpoint files, maybe other formats as well (pdf,doc) since the scanner doesnt show the files being scanned, only directories :-/

I’ve Sorted It! YAY!!!

I saved the file as a different name on my D: drive and then scanned my D: drive with NO PROBLEMS. I then overwrote the original file with the one I just saved. Scanned the folder at it scanned fine! Took 10 seconds! Maybe the file was corrupt or something!

All is fine now…

Anyway, it’s sorted! Thanks for everyone’s help!

Hi All,
The CAV scan engine hang problem is fixed now. It is available through updates v1.1.0.9 . Pl get this updates and try again. Also pl let us know the result.
