Problem: Comodo Firewall blocking all VPNs

Hi!

Ive been using comodo for years. But I reinstalled it last week and now for the first time I can’t use any of my vpns (either IdealVPN which is a windows vpn or vpntunnel.se which uses a GUI.exe interface, so it’s not coming from the VPNs).

Internet 100% traffic without VPN, Internet 0% traffic when VPN on :frowning:

How can I configure my firewall to let internet work with VPN on? I’m a total newbie so I’ve never configured any TCP/IP on Comodo and It was working fine before with VPNs, I don’t understand ???

Thanks very much in advance.

Hi BenBernanke,

You must 1st define a new network ==> Firewall > Network Security Policy > Network Zones > add > give it a name > apply > (add addresses here) > right click > add > scroll to IPv4 Subnet Mask enter you VPN address and subnet mask.

Then go to Firewall > Stealth Ports Wizard > choose the 1st option “Define a new trusted network and make my ports stealth for everyone else”. In the following window, enter the same ip address and subnet mask as above. CIS will make the basic rules needed.
