I’m trying to activate my Comodo firewall and I’m getting the following error: “An error has occurred. Error -2146697208: Unknown error, please contact support” using a proxy with authentication.

I am having exactly the same problem. The Comodo virus check software allows you to specify a proxy server (which I couldn’t get to work). I don;t see the same option using the CFP software! At the moment the only thing I can suggest is to try and get dial up or broadband access to the internet long enough to authenticate the software.
If anyone would have an answere re: proxy authentication it would be brilliant
