a newbie, why is privdog working in my icedragon normal installation but not in icedragon portable, can’t see the privdog button.

Drag’n’Drop the IcePrivDogAdTrustMedia.com.xpi file into an open IceDragon portable window.
File found at ‘C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Comodo\IceDragon\Profiles\default\extensions’

I unpacked and installed zip PrivDog.
It is present, but does not work.
Displaying last update 16.07. (No options upgrades in other supplements).
It can not work in the portable version.

The top and bottom?
The same icon can not be removed in the window - Customize Toolbar. (No “hands” dragging)
Holding down the left mouse button, the icon immediately opens setting PrivDog.
Edit: Perhaps need to do this?
Edit2: I created new browser user profiles, then re-installed PrivDog and this solved the issue for me.Not tested. If so, this is a workaround. We have to wait a single supplement.

I have done as you have. But I have a folder is renamed IceDragon and placed in the main section C:\IceDragon
(I have it not be in the Users)

Most likely a problem with renaming folders.

I have the same problem with the two icons if the add-on bar is active, the bottom icon number remains at zero (Static) but it does still open the threat list if clicked on.

I was just saying that the .xpi file can be retrieved from there to use in the portable version if you have the installed version.
Same thing here. But I have it always active.
The path that you specified. CID is not running. Error with the profile.
