I have just installed comodo on a wireless laptop everything seemed fine but very frustratingly i cannot print from word, i have added it as a safe application and i still get an error, is there anything else i should do to make sure i can print ?

Are you printing to a locally connected printer or to a shared printer somewhere on a LAN?
If it’s a shared printer, then you’ll need to make a trusted zone that encompasses the IP range used on your LAN. Alternatively, you can make individual rules in Network Monitor to allow traffic on ports 137 and 138 from thew IP address of the PC hosting the printer (individual rules are used in case you don’t want to allow all your LAN access).

If on a LAN with a networked printer, you will also likely have to add an Application Rule to allow the spool server access as well…
