  3. What you expected to happen or see: Windows 7 to draw a topology map of my LAN

  4. How you tried to fix it & what happened: I tried to disable all parts of CIS and only removing the program fixed the problem.

  5. If its an application compatibility problem have you tried the application fixes here?: Yes

  6. Details & exact version of any application (execpt CIS) involved with download link: n/a

Hi dewnullore,

but does pinging and mapping works? Both with name and IP address?
e.g.

Start>Run.. cmd /k ping -t 192.164.1.2

(Ctrl+C to stop or just close it, try with the computer name as well, please)

Start>Run...>cmd /k net use x: \\otherpc\c$

/etc switches…
I think either there’s a resolution problem or some services are disabled by the firewall/defense+. I’d definitively switch to Proactive mode and at Firewall settings, i’d change to the following settings (until the problem is not solved):

  1. FIREWALL| Firewall Behavior Settings | Alert Settings → Very High
  2. Enable IPv6 Filtering (hence Win7, i want to close this out)
  3. Stealth Ports: 2nd choice.

Thank you for your Issue report.

Moved to verified.

Thank you

Please do not double post.

Yrs Pinging works just fine. I set Defence + to proactive and set all the Firewall settings as requested, still no map. Should I leave them this way?

Oh and I think you are onto something with a service being disabled or Maybe the Comodo Internet Security Firewall Driver in network settings is causing some issue.
