Ports will not open firewall

First of Sorry if this is in the wrong place! Im not sure if this is the right place to post

I run Comodo Firewall on windows 7

And am having big trouble trying to open ports 50000-51000
I have opened them with my router but using a “Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router” it is always showing them as closed, Ive been using this for years now and this is the first problem ive come across

Cheers
Mike

Bump Sorry I really need to get this open asap! filezila server is not running, Might have to get rid of comodo

Depending on your firewall settings, you’ll need to create a Global rule to allow the protocol and ports and you’ll also need an Application rule for Filezilla. For the Global rule:

  1. Open CIS/Network Security Policy/Global rules
  2. Create the following:

Action - Allow
Protocol - (choose whichever you need - TCP or UDP)
Direction - In
Source Address - Any
Destination Address - Any
Source Port - Any
Destination Port - A port range 50000-50001

The Application rule will be similar.

I did do that mate, but it didn’t do anything
ports 50000-51000 tho :stuck_out_tongue:

Fixed the problem was down to a the shit “VM” “Superhub” …
