Please make more logging by default and more logging options.

Good afternoon.

I’ve just found one wish about extending COMODO logging abilities, and here it is:

I’m totally agree with that. Because I usually spend a lot of time to recognize what actually blocking my programs or connections. It’s VERY complicated task without “blocked events” log of a firewall.

And to see how much people have the same opition, I’ve created this thread with a poll. I think Firewall - is the most product which needs more logging features. Then comes others, like Defense+, etc.

What do you think?

I’d like to see some more logging in the AV section (when the database updates for example).

Yes, please

I had seen some instruction for install network printer that tell end user to turn off firewall to troubleshot the installation. For me this is a big no-no. However, without the firewall logging of all blocked event, this is next to impossible.

I’d like to have an option to turn ON logging globally of all blocked (or all) evens. After that it can be turned OFF and returning to whatever it is before.

In case of collided ips on LAN, logging of all even might offer some insights.

Right now, I have to go to every rule to turn on the log, and have to take notes to turn it back off later. This should not be this way.
