Please help, I'm very frustrated. Error report: 0x800705aa

Lately whenever I start a scan the AV scanner will eventually just stay there doing nothing, the number of scanned files does not increase, and when I hit “Pause sacn” or “Stop scan” I get the Error code: 0x800705aa saying… I don’t remember, something like “not enough system resources”. I’m also having problems with Defense+ but I don’t think this is the right board to discuss that. Please help me.
