Hi All I am new to this forum and am running the firewall on the standard custom setting…but am unable to connect to file voom.Can anyone give me an idiots guide as to how to check settings etc…to allow this to connect…Thanks (:SAD)

Is this FileVOoM by NetSoftwareCorp?
If so, it should function basically as any other p2p/filesharing application, and you will need to create Network Monitor rules to Allow Inbound traffic on the ports used by FileVOoM for each protocol (TCP, UDP). For more details, see the section on p2p applications in this thread:

You will also need to make sure you have an Application Monitor rule for FileVOoM as well.
