So, here I am. I’ve attempted at least twenty times to install Comodo free firewall. each time, I get to 99% then get the dreaded 1603. Each time I run CCleaner to purge the registry, and I’ve even run the CIS clean-up tool, though even when I run it as admin, I still get a few lines that read “access denied.” I really don’t want to do a complete reinstall of windows. Can someone please help me diagnose this issue, I just don’t know where to turn at this point.
the last time I attempted to install, I disabled all but the bare essential components and all startup applications to rule out some interaction with another program or app. I’m using Windows 7 if that helps.
here is the output of the Clean-up tool.bat file
