Thanks for your input guys. Makes for interesting reading indeed. You’re both very knowledgeable, but unfortunately it derails the topic a bit. You might want to take this discussion into the proper thread. I’m sure there’s more opinions out there for you to disassemble 
Unfortunately I’m no software designer, but I know for a fact that this Global Rule is always applied when you install CFP. It might just be in there, but not shown properly hence the garbled error message. I don’t want to sound patronizing here, but have you tried a re-install?
If you have, then may I suggest submitting a ticket to make the Devs. aware of the issue. It can be done here. Atleast the odds of a proper software engineer picking this up is dramatically improved
