When trying to make any change to my settings, I’m always asked for my password. The response is always “Invalid Password.” I shouldn’t have entered a password, because there is no remedy, that I can find. Can anyone help?
Hello Sun Bonnet. More information would help. What operating system do you have? What settings are you changing? Are you using Comodo, and is the problem with Comodo? Or, is it a Windows thing?
Hi there, grayhair, and thanks for responding!
I’m using Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 1 and Comodo Antivirus. Trying to change from Training mode to Installation mode in Comodo Proactive Defense.

Hello And Welcome
Try the following:
Go To Start > type in regedit
Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\Comodo\Firewall Pro\Configurations\0\Settings, change value 1 to 0 by pressing modify on entry PasswordEnabled.
Check whether value is 0 for PasswordEnabled entry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\Comodo\Firewall Pro\Configurations\1\Settings.
Reboot computer. Now The Password Has Been Reset
If Comodo Firewall doesn’t allow regedit to change those registry items, try to boot in safe mode and repeat those steps
