Comodo Internet Security - CIS AV False Positive/Negative Detection Reporting

hi,Comodo
i used CIS premium ver 5.3.1
N i just got some problem with downloading skype,every time i tried to download,in the middle of downloading it show up A malicious item has been detected
name : packed.win32.mpux.gen[at]129019204
location : C:\users********\download\skypesetup,exe…
more information: unvailable
when i click clean,it showed up 2 times n then it said that it need to restart to clean it
should i click ignore or quarantine to get skype install in my computer
i just start learning computer,… ???

On the sixth line down, I just removed your “computer name” and replaced it with "******". It’s just a little extra privacy, there’s was NO security risk or anything like that. I’m just keeping an eye out for everyone :slight_smile:

what you have is a FP (false positive= files that are seen as malware when the files aren’t)

if comes up again press on ignore and select always (I might be wrong with “always”).

He’s propably right :slight_smile: But, If in dout, upload it to www.virustotal.com and get multiable opinions for different AV softwares
