Overall performance

I didn’t know where to post this, so I’m posting here. Could anyone take a look at my log and tell me what could be the problem? I’m getting performance issues here, like some apps tend to drain CPU more, e.g. Firefox sometimes drains CPU to 80 - 100%, then cmdagent.exe, then other apps.

I would delete this one

here’s some ideas(below)

The following are system hogs

  1. CyberLink DVD Solution
These 2 pieces of software below can do just about everything cyberlink can do, plus the software is free and easy on the computer resources
Download Ashampoo Burning Studio Free 1.23.9 for Windows - Filehippo.com
Download VLC for Android APK 3.5.4 for Android - Filehippo.com

  2. adobe reader
A program called foxit it is a much lighter then adobe reader
Download Foxit Reader 12.0.2.1028 for Windows - Filehippo.com

  3. remove all software that doesn’t get used

  4. Get comodo system cleaner and clean your computer out, if your not an expert. Don’t used the advanced features. Just use the regular 3 cleaners

http://download.comodo.com/csc/download/setups/CSC_SETUP_2.2.129172.4_xp_vista_server2003_win7.exe

This is a nice program to use (just use the trail period, when done remove)

Defrag the harddrive after everything else is done

Firefox can drain CPU because of memory leaks I have been told. Be vigilant what applications start with Windows that you don’t need to run in memory constantly.

What is this: O4 - HKCU..\Run: [Windows Runtime] “C:\Documents and Settings\Inner Distance\javar.jar” ?

C:\Documents and Settings\Inner Distance\javar.jar

Is your computer name “Inner Distance”

As far as I know (at least with windows 7 w/ showing the hidden files) there is only a few things that come after this:
C:\Documents and Settings\

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users
C:\Documents and Settings\Default
C:\Documents and Settings\Default User
C:\Documents and Settings\Public
C:\Documents and Settings\ —Whatever your computer name is–

Tnks you guys, will do that. By the way, anyone of you know a good browser that is supported by all sites? Coz I work with websites that have only support for FF and IE and need something else that can mask itself as one of these, tried Opera, didn’t work.

There is no such a thing as a browser that is supported by all sites.

I am a happy Opera user and I take the tiny minority of sites that behave strange with Opera for granted.

You may want to check out the just released Opera 10.50 beta: Opera Desktop Team's Blog | Opera .
