There are only a few 3rd party sites I trust, and that is not one of them :(.
It’s ironic that I’m labelled as paranoid yet I use only one security program.

Soya deletes his “Volume info” or whatever file in System32 file he’s not sure about without much hesitation, but a software update - uhhh that’s scary ;D
I didn’t delete it - I only moved it. Besides, I already done a little research prior. There’s also a difference between the two - that folder only contains an empty file while Opera is my browser that I use whenever I’m on the internet. In a way, it acts as my secondary defense (url blocking).
And no, I’m not laughing with you ;D.
Okay - then laugh at me, but update your precious browser. 9.51 is official now ;D
Actually, I found out that RC 3 is the same as 9.51 final because of the build #. The only thing that might’ve changed is just the branding (:TNG).
Soya, why don’t you trust Softpedia? I ask because i tend to use that site.
Which sites do you trust?
Other than the obvious Comodo and the official site from program vendors, File Hippo is my fav. Some from this thread seem fine as well. Softpedia is great in that it contains tons of programs, but I don’t trust it because I have a feeling it’s heavily ad-supported.
Anyway, let’s not refer to other sites because it’s becoming !ot!. Well, since 9.51 is out we can even shut her down What think?
As much as it seems ironic, it makes sense, since the internet paranoia is the reason why you only have one security program! We share that philosophy! :-La

Now, suddenly the new Gmail interface works in Opera! I have done no browser changes or system changes whatsoever, just logged in and it worked. It didn’t work two hours ago.

9.52 has been released, so you can have a go at breaking Gmail again!
I hope 9.52 fixes the ad block case sensitivity issue >:(
Still 9.51 on their website, and no updates are available when I click Help / Check for Updates. ???
BTW I seem to have problems with Facebook in 9.51. It won’t log in. It works in IE6.
LA
EDIT: The Facebook issue was only temporarily. Strange. I tried in Opera, it didn’t work. Then I tried IE, which worked. Then I tried Opera again which didn’t work. Finally I tried Opera once more and then it worked.
It’s just a snapshot build on the way to 9.52 final, not the final version itself!
That’s true. giraffe, next time don’t set our hopes too high >:( ;D
These may be betas, but since they are stability bug fixes, it’s worth the download.
Sorry!
Couldn’t unforget and was too lazy to look.
It looks ok. What part of that page has rendering problems? If you take a screenshot we can make a comparative.
Then report it to Opera, otherwise why would you be beta testing? But first try to set the encoding to automatic, or maybe it’s your maimed Windows just like Ragwing. (They seem to be fine in my 9.51.)
EDIT: screenshot added.

No differences here both with IE or opera 9.51
Don’t tell me you didn’t plan to use those chars :o
Thanks. No point in reporting it as a bug if you 2 can see it fine :-\ I even cleared this old cookie and set it manual and auto on the encoding :-.
Update: I found that it works fine with a fresh profile, so it looks to be something in my setttings ??? It’s not my blocked content filter because I tested with it disabled.
Did you change advanced fonts settings?
