I am not sure if this is a Comodo issue but I thought I ask anyway. I am travelling in Europe right now and sam using a Vodafone “surfstick” to access Internet from my Win7 64 bit laptop. IE9 works fine and has no problems at all. However, chrome, outlook 2007, and Windows Live Mail client are not able to connect. I have not tried any other applications. Specific error codes are:
chrome: Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED): Unable to resolve the server’s DNS address
live mail client: Server Error 0x8007273c
outlook 2007: Receiving reported error 0x80040fc ‘The server name you entered can not be found on the network’
I found some information on the chrome error and have switched to openDNS which did not fix the problem. Other posts suggest firewall issues, and I have set chrome to predefined web browser policy in CIS network security policies. This did not change the issue, but I thought I post here to see if anything else could be done.
